Inequality

Inequality
Unequal access to opportunity

We are committed to creating a more equitable world where every person has the opportunity to achieve their best health, irrespective of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, age, socioeconomic status or geographic location. It is important that our teams reflect the communities we serve, and our diverse backgrounds and experiences allow us to understand the unique needs of the people we support and the importance of fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion where people feel seen and heard. We stand for equal opportunities, access to quality care and rights and our interventions are anchored to addressing social determinants of health to alleviate health inequities. Through our advocacy work, partnerships, grassroots community engagement, culturally appropriate education and support and co-design of our programs with the communities we serve, we are able to personalize the educational experience for people impacted by cancer-one person at a time.
