Sarah KrügChief Executive Officer

Sarah Krüg is a cancer researcher by trade and a patient advocate by choice, who is based in NYC. She is the Executive Director of CANCER101, a patient advocacy organization that helps patients and their families navigate cancer in partnership with their healthcare team. Sarah also founded the Health Collaboratory, a global innovation hub that’s built on the foundation of advancing health equity, understanding the impact of behavior science, and cultivating trust by amplifying the voice of the patient, care partner and clinician in the co-design of the future of healthcare. She is also on the board and past president of the Society for Participatory Medicine, a patient: clinician member driven organization, whose mission is to enable collaborative partnerships between patients and healthcare professionals. She previously established the Global Investigator Initiated Research Program at Pfizer, where she also held the positions of Global Education Director and Patient Advocacy Relations. Prior to joining Pfizer, Sarah spearheaded the development of Disease Management Clinical Pathways and conducted clinical research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Sarah is a global keynote speaker, who has also given multiple TED talks, including the Patient Doctor Tango. She is also the author of “A Roadmap to Wellness”, with another book in the works.
