Liver Cancer – Did You Know?

  • The most common signs and symptoms of liver cancer include unintended weight loss, loss of appetite, feeling full after a small meal, nausea/vomiting, enlarged liver (which may feel like fullness under the right side of ribs), enlarged spleen (which may feel like fullness under the left side of ribs), pain in the abdomen or near the right shoulder blade, swelling or fluid build-up in the abdomen, itching and/or yellowing of the skin/eyes (jaundice).1

  • Risk factors associated with liver cancer include chronic viral hepatitis (HBV or HBC), cirrhosis, heavy alcohol use, tobacco use, obesity, and type 2 diabetes.2
  •  

  • Connecting with other people that have liver cancer online and/or in person can help you learn about your condition and provide you with support.
