So great to hear your message of support. I have been on this journey since December when it was discovered that I had Uterine cancer. I had surgery to remove a tumor and a complete hysterectomy, thankfully it was not in my lymph nodes and was staged at 1a, however since it is a carcinoma sarcoma I will be having chemo starting on February 25 every 1x every 3weeks until mid June and 3 brachial radiation treatments in total. I found a great book which I downloaded called Chemo: Secrets to Thriving, which is so helpful . It was there that I found your website and your video. It has definitely helped me to begin to feel empowered and less afraid.

    Hi DonnaLyn,

I have been looking through different internet sutures trying to get information, resources and support for my diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer. This is an overwhelming process! I’m on a very limited income (social security benefits) and have recently found out that I am going to have to drive about 30 miles (maybe a little more) once a week to start IV chemo. I will have to rely on others to get me to and from treatment. Do you have any advice on how I can pay these volunteers gas money for taking me to and from? I’m really struggling with this issue, not to mention the anxiety of treatment in itself. I would love to hear from you with any feedback you might have for me. Thank you so very much!
