Sexuality & Fertility

For both men and women, sexuality and fertility can be affected by cancer treatment. Effects may range from lack of interest in sexual activity to pain with intercourse to reproductive issues. These effects may be difficult for any cancer patient, regardless of age and long-term plans, so talk to your healthcare team about the ways in which your sexuality and fertility may be affected during treatment and to find out if there are ways to combat certain side effects.
